The trading session for oil #CL started relatively calmly today. There haven't been any significant news from the Middle East yet, so trading is proceeding steadily, not far from the $100 per barrel level. The price briefly pierced above this mark today, but hasn't managed to hold above it. This week is rich in economic events, with the Federal Reserve meeting scheduled for Wednesday being of particular interest as it may have some impact on the situation. However, the main news driver remains the Middle Eastern theme, and only in the event of cessation of hostilities there can we expect a significant price drop towards $77 per barrel.
