The Swiss unemployment rate in June 2025 remained unchanged at a non-seasonally adjusted 2.7%, marking its lowest point since November 2024. The total number of unemployed individuals decreased by 1.1 thousand, reaching a seven-month low of 126.9 thousand. Concurrently, the youth unemployment rate, which accounts for job seekers aged between 15 and 24, also held steady at 2.5%. The number of unemployed youth experienced a slight increase of 0.07 thousand, bringing the total to 10.7 thousand. Moreover, reported job vacancies saw a rise of 1.6 thousand, totaling 39.8 thousand positions for the month. When adjusted for seasonal variations, the unemployment rate rose to 2.9% in June, compared to 2.8% in May.
