In October 2025, Moldova experienced a deceleration in producer price growth, which increased by 6.4% compared to the same month the previous year. This marks a decline from the 7.1% rise recorded in September. Growth in prices showed a notable slowdown, particularly in the mining and quarrying sector, where they rose by 7.3% compared to 10.4% in September, as well as in manufacturing, which saw an increase of 3.8% against the previous 4.6%. This moderation was especially evident in the prices for dairy products, sugar, and vegetable and animal oils and fats. Meanwhile, the costs for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply remained stable at 31.2%, unchanged for the third month in a row. On a monthly basis, producer prices fell by 0.5% in October, following a 0.1% decrease the previous month.
