EUR/USD fell quite sharply on Friday - there were no very important news - however, the University of Michigan index showed inflation expectations higher than forecast.
Note that EUR/USD fell against the backdrop of the worsening problems of the US national debt and the unclear prospects for negotiations between Biden and Congress on the debt.
There are no particularly important news in the calendar for the new week - there are retail sales in the US for the month and sales of new homes on Wednesday.
But the main event - negotiations between Biden and Congress on the debt - the day of negotiations is not even known on Monday morning.
Nevertheless, I am almost 100% sure that Biden and Congress will certainly find a solution and the debt limit will be raised on one condition or another or without conditions. Both sides are not suicidal and do not intend to bury the dollar system in the world.
We will keep selling EUR/USD, especially since we entered at a good price of 1.0938.
