Patterson Companies Inc. (PDCO) announced that its board has approved a new authorization for share buyback. This allows for the repurchase of up to $500 million of the company's common stock, effective through March 16, 2027. This new arrangement replaces the previous authorization, which was coming to an end and had a remaining balance of $194.9 million.
In addition to this, the company has also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.26 per share. This dividend is set to be disbursed on, or around, May 3, 2024, for shareholders of record at the close of business on April 19, 2024.
