HDFC Bank and TD Bank Group (TD) have declared an extension to their present relationship, aiming to better aid Indian students intending to study in Canada. This partnership launches a new referral scheme where HDFC Bank will recommend students eyeing education in Canada to the International Student GIC Program by TD.
This program is designed to make it easy for students to adhere to the Canadian Government's Student Direct Stream study permit pathway. By 2023, more than 425,000 Indian international students were studying in Canada under active permits.
