United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), a global semiconductor foundry firm, announced its unaudited net sales dated April 2024. The sales hit NT$19.74 billion for the month, showing a promising 6.93% growth from the previous year's figure of NT$18.46 billion. Furthermore, the company's net earnings for the January-April 2024 period also rose, albeit at a slightly lower rate. The earnings climbed to NT$74.37 billion from last year's NT$72.67 billion, marking a 2.34% increase.
