Swiss luxury goods corporation, Richemont, has recently inked a deal to fully purchase Vhernier, an Italian jewellery brand based in Milan. The Traglio family, who became the owners of Vhernier in 2001, also run De Vecchi Milano 1935, a renowned Italian brand specialising in silverware and home decor.
The acquisition is not anticipated to have a significant monetary impact on Richemont's consolidated net assets or operation performance for the financial year running up to March 31, 2025. Following the acquisition, the financial results for Vhernier will be incorporated within the business report for Richemont's Jewellery Maisons division.
