Marriott International (MAR) has unveiled plans to integrate three prestigious luxury properties in the United States into its Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. The properties include The Resort at Pelican Hill, Turtle Bay Resort, and a premium Midtown hotel in New York City, set to join the luxury brand lineup this summer.
"We've successfully negotiated the conversion of three exceptional properties, expanding our system by over 1,000 rooms and reinforcing our dedication to luxury," stated Leeny Oberg, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Development at Marriott International.
Marriott currently operates more than 510 luxury hotels and resorts across 70 countries and territories. These properties represent approximately 10% of both Marriott's current and planned room inventory.
