The unemployment rate in Hungary showed a slight decrease over the April-June period, according to data released by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office on Friday.
The rate fell to 4.3 percent in April-June, down from 4.4 percent in March-May. This compares to a jobless rate of 3.9 percent during the same period last year.
The number of unemployed individuals declined to 215,300 in April-June from 218,700 in the preceding three months. Meanwhile, the employment rate remained stable at 65.1 percent.
In June specifically, the unemployment rate further dropped to 4.2 percent from the 4.3 percent recorded in May.
