Walt Disney Co. plans to expand its cruise fleet with the addition of four new ships, which will join the four currently under development and the five already in service. According to a recent blog post by the media and entertainment giant, these new vessels are scheduled to debut between 2027 and 2031. This expansion will bring Disney's total fleet to 13 ships.
Although the names, designs, and itineraries for the new ships are still being developed, Disney encourages guests to start dreaming about their upcoming sailing adventures.
In addition, the company announced that the Disney Destiny, set to commence its voyages next year, will feature a signature production titled "Disney Hercules," showcasing the cherished music and characters from the classic Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
