Lazard Inc. (LAZ), a leading financial advisory and asset management firm, announced on Monday that its preliminary assets under management (AUM) as of July 31 stood at approximately $246.1 billion, an increase from $244.67 billion recorded on June 30.
The composition of July's AUM included net outflows of $3.6 billion, market appreciation of $3.5 billion, and foreign exchange gains amounting to $1.5 billion.
Equity assets rose to $192.18 billion, up from June's $190.43 billion. Conversely, fixed income assets decreased to $45.78 billion from $46.11 billion in the previous month.
In pre-market trading on the NYSE, Lazard shares were down approximately 1.1 percent, trading at $44.91.
