Currently, the CAC-40 is trading at 7,268.84, a slight dip of 0.01 percent from its previous close of 7,269.71. The trading range for the day has spanned between 7,307.45 and 7,250.50. Among the 40 constituents of the index, the number of gainers nearly matches the losers.
Vivendi leads the gainers with an increase of 0.91 percent, followed by Total Energies which rose by 0.75 percent, and STMicroelectronics which added 0.62 percent.
Conversely, Kering experienced a significant drop of over 1.5 percent. AXA declined by 0.80 percent, and Bouygues slipped 0.54 percent.
The EUR/USD pair has edged up by 0.05 percent to 1.0922, compared to its previous close of 1.0916. Throughout the day, the trading range for the pair has been between 1.093 and 1.0911.
Aligned with the rise in global bond yields, France's ten-year bond yields have increased by 0.84 percent to 2.991 percent, up from 2.966 percent the previous day.
