Ciena Corporation (CIEN) has announced that James Moylan, Jr., Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will retire in twelve months, effective August 28, 2025. The company will initiate a search for his successor. Moylan will remain in his CFO position until a successor is appointed and will aid in the transition of responsibilities.
Gary Smith, Ciena's President and CEO, remarked, "Jim has been an exceptional leader throughout Ciena and has fostered excellent relationships with our key stakeholders, including the financial community."
