Public Storage (PSA) announced on Friday the appointment of Chris Sambar as the new Chief Operating Officer.
Sambar comes to Public Storage from his role as President of AT&T Communications, where he led approximately 27,000 employees in network operations. His tenure at AT&T, which began in 2002, saw him take on various leadership positions spanning sales, operations, and corporate strategy.
A former United States Navy SEAL, Sambar holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the United States Naval Academy and the University of Southern California, respectively.

"His innovative perspectives and strategic insights will be invaluable to Public Storage and our stakeholders as we move forward."
