VINCI (VCISY.PK) announced that Icon Water, the provider of water and wastewater services for the Australian Capital Territory, has awarded a contract to Seymour Whyte and VINCI Construction Grands Projets, both subsidiaries of VINCI Construction. This contract involves upgrading and expanding the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Center.
The project, valued at 236 million euros, will involve the construction of a new membrane bioreactor. This facility will employ membrane treatment technology to handle up to 97 Mega Litres of wastewater daily. This initiative marks the commencement of a 10-year program of projects, with construction expected to start in 2025.
