Economic confidence in the Czech Republic experienced a minor decline following a previous month of growth, according to the Czech Statistical Office's survey results released on Monday.
The economic sentiment index decreased to 97.5 in December, down from 98.0 in November.
In parallel, there was a weakening in the industrial confidence index, which fell to 88.5 from 90.9, whereas the sentiment index in trade saw a slight increase, rising to 96.8 from the previous 96.4.
The business confidence indicator registered at 96.9, a small dip from November's 97.3.
The data further indicated a decline in consumer confidence for December, with the sentiment index dropping to 100.4 from 101.6 in November.
There was a modest increase in the percentage of consumers who anticipate a worsening of the country's overall economic situation over the next year, along with a rise in their intentions to make purchases.
