Talos Energy Inc. (TALO) has announced the immediate resignation of Joseph Mills from his roles as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board. The company clarified that Mills's departure is not linked to any operational or accounting concerns.
Furthermore, Talos Energy has identified a leading candidate for the position of permanent CEO and is in the final phase of discussions. The company anticipates that this candidate will assume the role by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
Talos has reaffirmed its full-year 2024 production guidance, initially released on November 11, 2024, and continues to project an average daily production of 91.0 to 94.0 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day.
