BAE Systems plc has announced a collaboration with Airbus SE to supply the energy storage system for Airbus's microhybridization demonstration project, a key step toward advancing sustainable aviation technology. BAE highlighted that its expertise in flight-critical systems and vehicle electrification would contribute to optimizing performance and ensuring more sustainable aircraft operations.
As of now, BAE's shares have risen by 2.60%, trading at 1,184 pence on the London Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, Airbus shares are experiencing a 0.20% increase, currently priced at 158.72 euros on the Paris market.
