Italy's construction sector saw its output increase for the third consecutive month in November, as indicated by preliminary data from Istat, the country's statistical agency, released on Monday.
In November, construction production experienced a month-on-month rise of 2.6 percent, building on a 0.7 percent increase reported in the previous month. This represents the most significant expansion since January, when production climbed by 2.8 percent.
Year-over-year, construction output's growth accelerated to 3.6 percent in November, marking a four-month high and improving from a 1.9 percent increase in the prior month.
On an unadjusted basis, however, construction production edged up by only 0.1 percent compared to the previous year, a slowdown from the 5.6 percent growth recorded in October.
