Luxembourg's unemployment rate remained unchanged for the second consecutive month in December, according to recent data released by the statistical office on Monday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was recorded at 5.9% in December, consistent with the rates observed in the prior two months.
In comparison, the rate stood at 5.6% in the same month the previous year.
The number of unemployed individuals fell to 18,488 from 18,664 in the preceding month. A year earlier, this figure was 17,397.
The number of resident jobseekers registered with the ADEM reached 19,532 at the end of December 2024, marking an increase of 1,334 individuals compared to December 2023, as reported by the agency.
