Electronic Arts Revises FY25 Bookings Outlook

Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) announced on Wednesday a revised forecast for its full-year 2025 bookings, lowering its expectations.

For the third quarter, EA anticipates net bookings of approximately $2.215 billion, with a revised annual projection between $7.000 billion and $7.150 billion for fiscal year 2025.

In terms of the third quarter revenues, EA estimates net revenue to be around $1.883 billion, with earnings per share forecasted at approximately $1.11.

Originally, EA's fiscal year 2025 guidance suggested mid-single-digit growth in live services net bookings. However, the company now predicts a mid-single-digit decline, primarily influenced by changes within their Global Football segment.

Andrew Wilson, CEO of EA, commented: "During Q3, we consistently delivered high-quality games and experiences across our portfolio; however, Dragon Age and EA SPORTS FC 25 fell short of our net bookings projections. This month, our teams rolled out a comprehensive gameplay update alongside our annual Team of the Year update for FC 25. Initial player feedback and results are promising. We are confident in our long-term strategy and anticipate a return to growth in FY26 as we continue to execute our plans."
