Lucid Group, Inc. (LCID) has announced that Taoufiq Boussaid will join as Chief Financial Officer, with his appointment set to take effect on February 25, 2025. In the interim, Gagan Dhingra has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance and Accounting. He will also continue in his role as Chief Accounting Officer, and he will report to Boussaid upon the latter's commencement of his duties as CFO.
Boussaid brings a wealth of experience in finance leadership within public companies to Lucid. His efforts will be centered on aligning strategic, operational, and financial frameworks with Lucid's goals for profitability and expansion, while also spearheading initiatives aimed at boosting shareholder value.
Prior to this appointment, Boussaid held the position of Group Chief Financial Officer at N.V. Bekaert S.A., a Belgian company specializing in industrial steel and coatings technology, from July 2019 until October 2024.
