This credit growth was largely propelled by housing loans, which increased by 0.4%, alongside an 0.8% uptick in business credit. Personal credit also recorded a slight climb of 0.1%. Annually, private sector credit saw a significant surge of 6.5% in February, consistent with the rates observed in December and January, and marking the most robust growth since April 2023.
