In April 2025, the business confidence index in the Czech Republic fell by 3.1 points, reaching 96.5, the lowest it has been in six months. The decline in sentiment was observed across several sectors, including industry, which dropped to 90.3 from 94.8 in March; trade, which decreased to 100.2 from 102.2; and selected services, which fell to 100.3 from 102.3. Conversely, the construction sector saw an uptick in confidence, rising to 116.4 from 115.8.
