In May 2025, wages in Poland's corporate sector experienced an 8.4% increase from the previous year, bringing the average salary to PLN 8670.51. This is a slowdown from the 9.3% rise observed in the previous month and slightly below market forecasts, which anticipated an 8.8% increase. Month-on-month, the average gross salary saw a decline of 4.1%, largely attributed to a reduction in extra payments, including bonuses, quarterly and annual premiums, jubilee awards, and retirement severance. Year-to-date, wages have grown by 8.4% compared to the same timeframe in the previous year.
