In May 2025, consumer confidence in Spain experienced a notable increase, climbing by 6.0 points to reach 82.5. This marks a recovery from the 17-month low of 76.5 observed in April. The uplift in sentiment was fueled by enhanced perceptions of both the present economic landscape, which rose to 78.4 from April's 75.1, and household future outlooks, which improved to 86.5 from 77.9 the previous month. Nevertheless, confidence levels remained 2 points below those registered in May 2024.
