On Monday, the IDX Composite advanced by 121 points, or 1.6%, reaching 7,664 by midday—a peak not seen since October 25, 2024—as it marked its fourth consecutive session of gains. This upward trend was bolstered by a rise in US stock futures, attributable to recent US-EU trade agreements that alleviated concerns about a potential trade conflict escalation. Furthermore, market participants were keenly anticipating the commencement of trade discussions between China and the EU in Stockholm, scheduled for today. Despite these developments, a sense of caution lingered as investors awaited the US Federal Reserve's upcoming interest rate decision and pivotal domestic reports on inflation and trade expected later in the week. Nearly all sectors experienced gains, with finance leading at +2.9%, followed by infrastructure at +2.4%, and raw materials at +1.6%. Notable performers included Indah Kiat, up 7.0%, AKR Corporindo, with a 6.5% increase, and Merdeka Copper Gold, rising by 5.9%.
