In August 2025, Kyrgyzstan experienced a 13.6% year-on-year increase in industrial production, up from 11.6% in July. This represents the most significant growth in industrial activity since March, primarily fueled by an upswing in the manufacturing sector, which rose to 11.7% from 7.6% in the previous month. Additionally, there was notable growth in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply, which increased to 18.1% from 13.9%. Conversely, production growth decelerated in the mining and quarrying sector, dropping to 23.1% from 40.7%, and in water supply, which slowed to 17.7% from 31%. Over the first eight months of the year, industrial output was up by 11.5% compared to the same timeframe the previous year.
