In August 2025, the Swedish industry's total orders saw a year-on-year increase of 7.3%, recovering from the prior month's 1.4% decline. This growth was primarily propelled by a resurgence in domestic demand, which witnessed a 3.0% increase. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, new orders increased by 7.2%, bouncing back from a 2.4% downturn the month before. So far this year, total industry orders have been 5.3% higher compared to the same timeframe last year.
