On Friday, the Ibovespa index increased by 0.4%, reaching approximately 143,000, buoyed by positive corporate developments. Prio saw a 2.8% rise following the resumption of production at the Peregrino field, having received the green light from ANP. Telefônica Brasil experienced a 1% uptick after securing a R$702.6 million cloud services contract within the Telefónica group, which remains in effect until 2030. Cemig concluded the sale of four small hydropower facilities to Âmbar Energia, affiliated with the J&F group, for R$52 million, seeing a modest increase of 0.2%. Ambev's shares rose by 1.4%. Meanwhile, Petrobras increased by 0.3% while advancing its plans to initiate drilling of its first well at the equatorial margin near the Amazon basin. Within the financial sector, banking giants saw modest gains with Itaú and Bradesco rising by 0.4% and 0.5% respectively. Conversely, Vale's shares fell by 0.5% due to a downturn in iron ore futures amid concerns over demand. Vibra experienced almost a 1% decline as Comerc revised its 2025 EBITDA predictions to a range of R$1.05–1.15 billion.
