In a post on Truth Social, Trump accused Canada of employing a "FAKE" advertisement to attempt to "interfere with the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court, and other courts." He underscored the importance of tariffs to the national security and economy of the United States, stating unequivocally, "ALL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH CANADA ARE HEREBY TERMINATED."
