FX.co ★ Vietnam Tourist Arrivals Grow 22.1% YoY in October

In October 2025, Vietnam saw a 22.1% increase in international arrivals compared to the same month the previous year, reaching a total of 1.73 million. This follows a 19.5% growth rate recorded in September. The surge in visitor numbers was driven primarily by an increase of 21.5% in arrivals from Asia, with notable contributions from China at 41.9%, Malaysia at 37.1%, Cambodia at 49.3%, and the Philippines at an impressive 68.4%. Tourist arrivals from the Americas were also on the rise, showing an 8.2% increase, with Canada and the United States contributing growth rates of 8.1% and 6.6%, respectively. Furthermore, European visitors increased by 34.9%, significantly boosted by a 261% rise from Russia, along with 17.2% and 15.9% increases from the UK and France, respectively. Tourism from Australia grew by 14.5%, while African arrivals surged by 28%. Cumulatively, for the first ten months of the year, Vietnam experienced a 21.5% rise in tourist arrivals, totaling 17.17 million.
