Georgia's trade deficit reduced to USD 775.4 million in October 2025 from USD 824.4 million in the previous year for the same month, representing the smallest deficit since March 2024. There was a 0.4% year-over-year increase in exports, reaching USD 684.5 million, whereas imports fell by 3.1% to USD 1,459.9 million. When considering the period from January to October, the trade deficit expanded to USD 9,159.8 million from USD 8,247.5 million over the same period the previous year. This expansion occurred as imports grew by 9.3%, outstripping the 6.8% increase in exports.
