In September 2025, Serbia experienced a reduction in its current account deficit, decreasing to $396 million compared to a revised $618 million in the same period the previous year. The deficit in the goods account decreased to $528 million from $549 million in September 2024, and the primary income deficit also saw a reduction to $584 million from $738 million. Additionally, the surplus in secondary income expanded to $530 million, up from $439 million. Conversely, the services account surplus declined to $186 million from $230 million.
