This latest figure signifies the sector's first expansion since August 2024. This growth was bolstered by a slight uptick in output tied to stronger sales performance and a modest rise in demand, as evidenced by new business inflows. Additionally, job losses within the service industry were less severe than those in manufacturing, indicating that companies are striving to maintain staffing levels amidst a gradually stabilizing activity. On the pricing front, service providers continued to encounter rising input costs, primarily due to higher wages and increased materials expenses.
