FX.co ★ Chile Retail Sales Soar in October

Retail sales in Chile saw a notable year-on-year increase of 8.4% in October 2025, marking the largest surge since June 2024, and building on an upwardly revised rise of 6.5% in September. The primary drivers of this growth were substantial increases in sales of electronics, household equipment, and technology at 17.4%; clothing, footwear, and accessories at 14.3%; and food at 5.1%. On a month-to-month basis, retail sales experienced a 1.4% climb, which is the most significant rise in four months. Cumulatively, retail sales have risen by 5.5% this year.
