In November 2025, Colombia experienced a modest annual increase in imports, rising by 0.3% to reach $5.89 billion. Notably, there was a significant 7.8% rise in the importation of machinery and transport equipment within the manufacturing sector. Additionally, the import of chemicals and related products saw a 1.8% increase. The agricultural sector also contributed to this growth, with imports of food and beverage products climbing by 4.1%, bolstered by a 4.5% rise in food products and live animals. Cumulatively, from January to November 2025, Colombia's total imports amounted to $64.45 billion, marking a 10.3% increase compared to the same timeframe in the previous year, 2024.
