FX.co ★ Canada Weekly Earnings Growth Rises in November

In November 2025, the average weekly earnings for non-farm payroll employees in Canada experienced a 2.5% rise, reaching C$1,317 compared to the same period the previous year. This marks an increase from the 2.0% growth observed in October. The most significant earnings increases were seen in the sectors of forestry, logging and support activities (9.4%), real estate and rental and leasing (8.0%), and management of companies and enterprises (6.4%). Meanwhile, there were declines in sectors such as wholesale trade (-5.9%) and arts, entertainment and recreation (-5.2%). Among the provinces, Prince Edward Island recorded the highest increase in earnings at 5.6%, whereas the Northwest Territories experienced the largest decrease at -12.5%. On a monthly basis, average weekly earnings remained largely unchanged in November.
