FX.co ★ Japan Producer Prices Rise the Least in Near 2 Years

Japan’s producer prices increased 2.0% year-on-year in February 2026, easing from a 2.3% rise in January and coming in below market expectations of 2.1%. This was the weakest annual gain since May 2024. On a monthly basis, producer prices slipped 0.1%, reversing a 2.0% increase in January and marking the first monthly decline in six months.
