Business confidence in the Czech Republic increased to 100.4 in March 2026 from 99.8 in February, reaching its highest level since October 2025. The improvement was mainly driven by the industrial sector, where sentiment rose to a five-month high of 99.5, up from 97.5. Confidence in the trade sector also improved, climbing to 98.2 from 96.8, its strongest level in six months. By contrast, business sentiment in construction deteriorated, with the index slipping to 113.8 from 116.1. Confidence in selected services also eased slightly, edging down to 100.3 from 100.9 in the previous month.
