South Korea’s Export Price Index posted a steep year-over-year jump in March 2026, rising 28.7% compared with the same month a year earlier. The latest reading, updated on 14 April 2026, shows a significant acceleration from February 2026, when export prices were up 11.1% on an annual basis.
The data indicate that export prices in March grew much faster than in the previous month when measured against their respective year-ago levels. While the February figure reflected the change versus February of the prior year, the March reading captures the change relative to March a year earlier, underscoring a sharp intensification in price pressures across South Korea’s export sector.
