This marks the second consecutive month of flat core inflation, after February 2026 also recorded a 0.0% change compared with the previous month.
The back-to-back zero readings indicate that underlying price pressures, excluding volatile components, have stalled on a monthly basis. On a month-over-month basis, the “Actual” figure for March is directly compared to February 2026, while the “Previous” figure reflects February’s change against January. Both comparisons show no movement, underscoring a period of stability in Slovakia’s core prices as the first quarter of 2026 draws to a close.
