The Ibovespa finished virtually unchanged on Monday at 173,205 points, as investors continued to monitor developments in the Middle East. The United States and Iran agreed to halt recent hostilities and resume diplomatic talks after exchanging new attacks over the weekend. Oil prices rebounded but stayed close to pre-conflict levels, easing fears of a renewed wave of energy-driven inflation. Financial stocks led the advance, with Itaú up 0.4% and Bradesco gaining 1.4%. Petrobras inched 0.2% higher, tracking the modest recovery in crude, while Vale retreated on the back of weaker iron ore prices. On the downside, Ambev (-0.8%), Vivo (-1.1%), and Embraer (-2.1%) underperformed.
