FX.co ★ Chile Producer Price Growth Eases in June

Chile’s producer price index (PPI) rose 19.7% year-on-year in June 2026, easing from a 20.5% increase in May. The mining sector once again posted the strongest gains, with prices climbing 32.5%, after a 35% surge the previous month, largely driven by a 32.9% jump in copper prices. Prices of manufactured goods increased 5.5%, accelerating from 4.8% in May, while utility prices were up 5.2% following a 5% rise a month earlier. On a monthly basis, producer prices advanced 0.6%, a notable slowdown from May’s 2.8% increase, bringing the cumulative rise for the year to 8.8%.
