Ecuador’s annual inflation rate slowed to 1.39% in July 2026, down from 1.65% in June. The strongest price pressures were observed in goods, which rose 1.44%. Inflation was mainly driven by non-food items, whose prices increased 2.01%, while service costs advanced 1.33%. In contrast, food prices declined by 0.7%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.09% in July, following a 0.8% increase in June. Year-to-date inflation stood at 1.30%.
