Turkey’s annual producer inflation rate slowed to 27.38% in September 2026, down from 27.95% in August, marking its lowest level since January. Cost pressures eased in manufacturing (29.09% vs 29.68% in August) and in mining and quarrying (34.15% vs 38.88%).
In contrast, prices accelerated in electricity, gas, production and distribution (8.67% vs 7.57%) and in water supply (29.70% vs 29.59%).
By main industrial groupings, inflation declined for durable consumer goods (26.97% vs 28.54%), non-durable consumer goods (25.97% vs 30.28%), and capital goods (21.55% vs 22.06%). However, it picked up for intermediate goods (28.11% vs 27.41%) and energy (30.82% vs 27.33%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 2.07% in September, easing from a 2.57% increase in August.
