Tourist arrivals to Israel surged 19.2% year-on-year to 135.5 thousand in September 2026, rebounding from a 1.9% decline in the previous month. Total visitor entries rose to 137.2 thousand from 115.3 thousand, while the number of day visitors edged up to 1.7 thousand from 1.6 thousand.
Over the period January–September, tourist arrivals reached 788.5 thousand, down from 927.8 thousand in the same period of 2025. The United States remained the leading source market, accounting for 35.5% of total arrivals, followed by France at 12.4%, the United Kingdom at 8.2%, and Russia at 4.7%.
