Turkey’s manufacturing capacity utilization rate rose to 74.5% in October 2026, up from 74.2% in September, reaching its highest level since June 2026. The overall increase was driven by stronger capacity use across most major industry groups, led by consumer goods, where the rate advanced to 72.3% from 71.4%.
Within consumer goods, non-durable consumer goods utilization increased to 73.1% from 72.5%, while durable consumer goods rebounded to 68.5% from 66.4%. Capacity utilization in investment goods also inched up, rising to 73.4% from 73.1%, signaling improved use of capacity in capital goods production.
In contrast, intermediate goods utilization edged down slightly to 74.4% from 74.5%, though it remained the highest rate among the main industry groupings.
