The U.S. stock market review

The stock indexes increased following the trading results on the US stock market, thus Alcoa, Chevron and General Electric headed the stock quotes growth of the energy, raw materials and industrial companies on Tuesday.

Dow Jones Industrial Average ticked up by 56,07 points or 0,59 %, to 9497,34 points, it is the 3rd sequent trading session of growth. Nasdaq Composite Index jumped by 18,99 points or 0,94 %, to 2037,77 points, it is the highest rate since October, 1st, 2008. Standard and Poor\'s 500 Index rose by 8,99 points or 0,88 %, to 1025,39 points.

The indexes growth was contributed by the next wave of the various raw goods purchases, including gold, silver and oil. From the macroeconomic point of view, by means of these purchases investors expect the economic recovery which, in its turn, will provide the growth of raw materials demand by the end of this year.

Against a rise in price of the raw goods of stock quote Alcoa and Chevron shares grew by 42 cents or 3,5 %, to 12,60 dollars and by 1,52 dollars or 2,2 %, to 70,48 dollars respectively amid the raw goods rose in price. The general growth of industrial sector stocks was promoted by the increase of General Electric shares by 63 cents or 4,5 %, to 14,50 dollars after in JPMorgan raised the GE stocks rate to "above the market" from neutral level.

Investors had some fears concerning the beginning of September which is historically one of the weakest months for the American stock market. The stock indexes growth observed earlier occurred in the conditions of low trade volume that forced some observers to think, whether this growth will continue when the trades’ volume will return to normal level this week.

However, the trades’ volume still remained insufficiently high and stocks again rose in price on Tuesday.
